Kiss Cage, was a demo tape made to document what BOMB sounded
like at the time, 1991 San Francisco
as we were being courted by Warner Bros,
in the wake of the major label grunge signing explosion. This demo (and our live
show) is basically what got us signed. And it was recorded on a four-track cassette
portastudio and two SM57 microphones in our rehearsal studio. It was recorded
in one afternoon, and mixed that night.

of the cassettte after all those years
... and finally remastered by Doug
from Jay's mix tape on 9.11.07 ... 16 years later.
Michael W. Dean says: "Doug Hilsinger told me, 'I think we should have put this out instead of the Laswell-produced versions of the same songs.' AND we would have saved 60 thousand dollars."
