Telescope photo I took of a small region of the constellation of Sagittarius. The area is a little less than a fist at arm’s length.<\/div>\n
The bright star on the left is Tau Sagittarii.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It is 122 light-years from us. It’s 16x the size of the Sun.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It is the closest star from our view of where the 1977 (possibly alien) “WOW!” radio signal came from.<\/div>\n
