Long-time hardcore Bomb fan Jordan Wesley asks Michael Dean from Bomb a bunch of questions. This is the first half. Second half comes out later this week. And the album remastered by Jack Endino comes out in a day or two.

  1. I saw Bomb at the Town Pump in Vancouver in 93, I think. They opened for The Flaming Lips and completely blew the audience away. They played the Hate Fed Love material. Michael Dean took the stage in a flashy, silver suit with his hair tied back and by the fourth song was completely naked. When they were done the 200 or so of us 20 somethings were looking around at each other wondering what the hell just happened. I would hate to have to follow that.
I’ve seen a lot of great shows over the past 30 plus years but that gig at the Pump left a deep impression. What a treat to hear Michael give such a spirited interview.
